Privacy Policy
Bottom line up front: Generally speaking, we do not collect any data that can be used to personally identify or track you (Note: all generalizations are false, including this one). We don't use any cookies.
We don’t share any data with third parties. However, we do collect some data about your visit and we may store data on your computer. The following details spell it out:
(1) Server Logs & Security Metrics
When you visit this website, our web hosting provider (Arvixe) automatically
collects and records standard technical information in temporary
server access logs. This processing occurs entirely on the server
side and does not place tracking cookies or access data on your local
device.
What Data is Processed:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Date and time of the request
- The specific page or file accessed (URL)
- HTTP Status Code (e.g., successful load or page error)
- User-Agent string (your browser type, version, and operating system)
- Referrer URL (the website you clicked from to arrive here)
Basis & Purpose:
We process this information under the legal basis of Legitimate Interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f), see note 1 below)
This data is structurally necessary to monitor website performance,
fix technical errors, detect and block malicious traffic (such as
spam or cyber-attacks), and calculate basic, aggregate visitor
statistics.
Data Retention:
To uphold the principle of data minimization, the raw log files
containing full, unmasked IP addresses are held temporarily for
real-time security monitoring and automated statistical processing.
These raw logs are automatically purged by our server within 24 to 48
hours. The remaining dashboard analytics visible to us contain only
aggregate, non-identifiable numbers (such as total monthly page
views).
(2) Information You Provide Voluntarily (Email & Inquiries)
When you contact us directly via email (including when you click on any mailto links on our website), we collect the personal
information you choose to provide. This typically includes your email
address, name, and any other information or attachments you include in your message.
- How We Use It:
We use this information solely to respond to your inquiries, provide
customer support, and address your requests
- Legal Basis (for GDPR/UK GDPR, see note 1 below):
We process this data based on our legitimate interest in
communicating with our website visitors and providing effective
support.
- Data Retention:
We retain your emails and correspondence only for as long as
necessary to fulfill the purpose of your inquiry or to comply with
legal obligations.
(3) Personalization (Browser Storage)
We use your browser's local storage strictly to personalize your experience on our website by displaying
a "welcome back" message showing the date of your last visit and
the number of times you have visited
- Data Processed:
The date of your most recent visit and
a count of the number of visits. No IP addresses, account names, or unique tracking identifiers are processed.
- How it Works:
This feature runs entirely on your own device using client-side
JavaScript. Unlike traditional cookies, data in localStorage is completely network-silent;
it is never transmitted to our web servers, stored externally, or
accessible by third parties.
- This data remains stored locally inside your browser's secure
sandbox until you manually clear your browser's history, cache, or
site data.
For you, currently this message would say:
Note: If the text above says, "Is this your first visit?" Then we think this is the first day you have visited (or the data has been cleared).

Note 1: We are a small one man operation located in the Southeastern United States. We operate only as a hobby (just so I can learn how websites work).
We do not target or even expect European visitors. Actually, we'd be really surprised if we had any visitors......from anywhere!
